What are Urethane Cement Floors?
Urethane cement is a type of flooring material that’s made by combining modified urethane, Portland cement, and other additives, resulting in a high-performance floor coating. Unlike epoxy floor systems that are created through a chemical reaction of two liquids, urethane cement is a viscous, cement-like mixture. When we install urethane cement, we make it much thicker than epoxy, usually around 1/8th of an inch. Because of this added thickness, urethane cement is highly resistant to thermal shock, abrasion, and wear.

Epoxy Services We Offer
Requirements for ESD Flooring

Static control
Static control is the most critical and challenging aspect of ESD flooring. Data centers and electronics manufacturers house sensitive equipment that is easily damaged by uncontrolled electric discharge. Our seamless flooring systems are a simple, affordable, and low-maintenance solution for controlling static electricity.
Low Maintenance
Our conductive flooring systems are designed for low maintenance and long-term use. One of the key advantages of ESD epoxy floors is that they are easy to clean with standard cleaning supplies. Additionally, the seamless surface eliminates grout lines found in anti-static tiles, making the floor more hygienic and simpler to maintain. The system also enhances dust control, contributing to a cleaner environment.
Temperature Control
Computer equipment is densely contained in data centers and requires efficient cooling to operate correctly. Unlike other high-performance flooring solutions, our ESD coating systems do not absorb heat. This characteristic helps to increase cooling efficiency and equipment performance in data centers.

High Durability
Our ESD epoxy flooring provides a long, uninterrupted service life despite exposure to extreme conditions. ESD installations are frequently exposed to:
High Compressive Load
Servers and racks introduce a high compressive load to underlying flooring systems. A suitable ESD epoxy flooring system must be able to withstand these forces without failures such as cracks or dents.
Abrasion and Wear
Repetitive abrasion is inherent to server room or manufacturer flooring. Our ESD systems withstand abrasion while maintaining their static control characteristics.
Chemical Spills
Our ESD epoxy flooring systems have very high resistance to liquid chemical spills. These include acids, bases, bleach, and other cleaning supplies, oils, solvents, and bodily fluids.
