Flooring systems we install

Polished concrete

Polished concrete turns the slab itself into the finished floor. Craftsman grinds, densifies and polishes the concrete to the selected aggregate exposure and sheen. The slab’s condition and construction affect the finished appearance.

Our polished concrete installation guide explains the process and available finishes.

Terrazzo

Craftsman installs poured epoxy, cementitious and precast terrazzo for commercial and institutional buildings. We fabricate precast terrazzo in-house, including stairs, treads, countertops, wall panels and cove base. These pieces can be coordinated with the poured floor.

Epoxy floor coatings

Craftsman installs thin-film and multilayer epoxy systems with polyurethane topcoats. We select the assembly around traffic, chemical exposure, texture requirements and the condition of the concrete. Our commercial epoxy flooring cost guide explains system options and installation costs.

Urethane cement

We install urethane cement flooring for food and beverage processing and other wet-processing environments. System selection accounts for the facility’s operating temperatures, cleaning procedures and chemical exposure.

Concrete overlays

When the existing slab cannot produce the intended polished appearance, a cementitious overlay provides a new finishing surface. Craftsman installs concrete overlays over structurally sound concrete.

Sealed concrete

Craftsman prepares and seals concrete floors for commercial and industrial use. See our sealed concrete floors page.

Installation in occupied facilities

Craftsman plans flooring installation around continuing operations, identifying which areas must close and which routes must remain available. Where the work can proceed in phases, we agree on the sequence with the facility team.

We schedule preparation, installation, curing, required testing and cleanup before returning each area to service.

At completion, we provide the flooring closeout documentation required by the project.

Request project pricing

Send the facility address, approximate square footage, existing flooring and intended use. Include drawings or a specification if available, the target schedule and whether the building will remain occupied during installation.
