Sika Ucrete SL is a self-leveling polyurethane cementitious slurry engineered with Sika Ucrete HS24 NA, installed at 80 to 160 mils (2 to 4 mm). It is a water-dispersed polyurethane, cement, and aggregate screed that lays down as a smooth, easy-to-clean, self-leveling floor topping with slip resistance, used across general industrial areas — warehouses, production facilities, laboratories, and workshops. Unlike a trowel-applied Ucrete screed, Sika Ucrete SL self-levels, which is what makes it the choice for flat, medium-to-heavy-duty industrial floors. It performs across a −40 °F to 248 °F temperature range and meets USDA requirements for use in food plants. This data sheet covers its mechanical specs, temperature range, and substrate requirements. Craftsman Concrete Floors installs Sika Ucrete SL systems nationwide as a Sika Certified Installer.

About Sika Ucrete SL
Sika Ucrete SL is the self-leveling, general-industrial member of the Sika Ucrete range. Three things on the system data sheet define where it fits: the self-leveling slurry format, the 80-to-160-mil build, and a temperature and chemical profile suited to medium-to-heavy-duty industrial floors.
Self-Leveling Slurry at 80-160 Mils
Sika Ucrete SL installs as a self-leveling slurry at 80 to 160 mils (2 to 4 mm), engineered with Sika Ucrete HS24 NA over a Sika Ucrete TC31 NA primer. The self-leveling format produces a smooth, flat surface across general industrial areas — warehouses, production facilities, laboratories, and workshops — where a trowel-applied screed is more than the duty requires. Used as a base coat for a moisture-vapor-tolerant system, the minimum build is 125 mils before any aggregate broadcast. For heavier-duty or thicker self-leveling work in aggressive or freezer environments, Sika Ucrete SL+ at 160 to 250 mils is the step up.
Temperature, Chemical, and Impact Behavior
Sika Ucrete SL holds its physical characteristics across a −40 °F to 248 °F (−40 °C to 120 °C) range, with a coefficient of thermal expansion close to concrete so it moves with the slab through normal thermal cycling, and it is steam-cleanable at 80 to 160 mils. It resists a very wide range of organic and inorganic acids, alkalis, amines, salts, and solvents — consult Sika Technical Service for a specific exposure. Under impact it behaves plastically, deforming rather than cracking or debonding, and its aggregate structure gives high abrasion resistance. It is non-tainting and odorless, and it meets USDA requirements for use in food plants.
Substrate and Moisture Tolerance
Sika Ucrete SL can be applied on green concrete, typically 7 to 10 days old, without waiting the full 28-day cure, and over partially cured substrates measuring above 4% surface moisture on a Tramex meter or below 100% relative humidity per ASTM F2170. The concrete is prepared to an ICRI-CSP 3-6 profile and must reach at least 3,625 psi compressive and 218 psi tensile at the time of application. Free edges at the perimeter, gutters, and drains are anchored into cut grooves, and existing expansion joints are carried up through the floor.
