Sherwin-Williams Poly-Crete HF is a 100% solids, aromatic, cementitious urethane system, pigmented and trowel-applied, installed at 1/4 to 3/8 inch depending on design requirements. It is the heavy-duty member of the Poly-Crete line, built to withstand aggressive chemical and thermal attack while providing high abrasion resistance, with an optional integral cove base. Where the self-leveling Poly-Crete systems handle general and slip-resistant duty, HF is the thickest specification, for the wet, hot process floors that chew through thinner systems. If your specification still reads Dur-A-Flex Poly-Crete HF or the older General Polymers FasTop Multi Screed TG69, this is the same system under its current Sherwin-Williams High Performance Flooring name. Craftsman Concrete Floors installs Poly-Crete HF nationwide as an authorized Sherwin-Williams High Performance Flooring installer.

About Sherwin-Williams Poly-Crete HF
Poly-Crete HF is the heavy-duty trowel-applied system in the Poly-Crete cementitious urethane line — the thickest standard build, specified where chemical attack and washdown heat overlap with constant abrasion.
Trowel-Applied at 1/4 to 3/8 Inch
Poly-Crete HF is a pigmented, 100% solids cementitious urethane troweled at 1/4 to 3/8 inch depending on design requirements, with an optional integral cove base that carries the floor seamlessly up the wall for sanitation. The thickness is what separates it from the self-leveling Poly-Crete systems: where SL, SLB, MD, and MDB handle general, smooth, and slip-resistant duty, HF is the heavy-duty screed for the floors that punish everything else.
Aggressive Chemical and Thermal Attack
Poly-Crete HF goes where thinner systems fail: caustic and acid cleaning chemistry, hot washdown dropping onto floor that minutes earlier sat at ambient or chilled service, and the constant scrape of drums and pallets. As a Poly-Crete system it is formulated to follow USDA, FDA, CFIA, ADA, and OSHA guidelines, and the published platform carries a 9,000 psi compressive strength (ASTM C579). Exact thermal limits and performance values for this build are on the embedded data sheet, which governs the specification.
Formerly Dur-A-Flex Poly-Crete HF and FasTop Multi Screed TG69
If a specification calls for FasTop Multi Screed TG69, this is the system it now names: the 2025 branding transition consolidated the General Polymers FasTop line into Poly-Crete, and TG69 maps to Poly-Crete HF. The Dur-A-Flex Poly-Crete HF name carried straight through the July 1, 2022 acquisition by Sherwin-Williams. Craftsman confirms the legacy-to-current mapping during pre-bid review.

Frequently Asked Questions
Poly-Crete HF is the heavy-duty trowel-applied urethane cement in the Poly-Crete line, specified for the most aggressive environments — heavy food and beverage processing, chemical process and washdown areas, breweries and distilleries, and thermal-cycling and freezer floors.
Poly-Crete HF is trowel-applied at 1/4 to 3/8 inch depending on design requirements — the thickest standard Poly-Crete build, versus the self-leveling SL, SLB, MD, and MDB systems. An optional integral cove base is available.
It is the current Sherwin-Williams High Performance Flooring name for the system formerly sold as Dur-A-Flex Poly-Crete HF, and before that as the General Polymers FasTop Multi Screed TG69.
Yes. Poly-Crete HF is designed to withstand aggressive thermal attack and is specified for hot washdown and thermal-cycling areas. The exact thermal limits for a given build are on the embedded data sheet and confirmed during specification.
An integral cove base is available as an option with Poly-Crete HF, formed in place during installation as part of the same mortar pour so the floor turns up the wall as one monolithic surface, which food and beverage sanitation programs expect.
